Role Description
As a Pre-Sales Consultant / Sales Engineer, you’ll act as the bridge between Sales, Product, and prospective customers — combining technical expertise with commercial insight to drive successful engagements.
You will:
Partner closely with Sales (AEs and SDRs) to deliver tailored demos, proofs of concept, and discovery workshops.
Analyse customer requirements and translate them into value-driven solution proposals.
Support RFI/RFP processes and help shape strategic enterprise deals.
Act as a trusted advisor to procurement, logistics, supply chain, and operations leaders.
Present to senior enterprise stakeholders and communicate complex solutions in simple, impactful ways.
Bridge commercial, technical, and process aspects to strengthen opportunities throughout the sales cycle.

Must Haves
3–5 years’ experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering (SaaS or IT services).
Strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, logistics, or ERP systems.
Proven ability to deliver engaging demos and proofs of concept to C-level audiences.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
Consultative mindset with the ability to connect business, process, and technology discussions.
Nice to Haves
Experience at a competitor or in ERP / supply chain consulting.
Background in direct procurement, order management, or planning.
Familiarity with accounts payable automation, e-invoicing, or logistics tech.
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related fields.
Salary Range & Secondary Benefits
Base: €80K–100K (depending on seniority and experience)
Variable: ~€25–30K bonus/commission (80/20 split)
Mobility allowance for travel
Fully remote role with travel support for clients and internal meetings
