Size and functions of local team: 72 employees total, 14 in sales (split across inbound, outbound, and account management)

Role Description
Title: BDR Team Lead

Build and lead a new BDR function focused on outbound lead generation
Target Market: UK-based businesses, expanding beyond 750 existing clients
Sales Focus: Selling professional services rather than SaaS products
Core Responsibilities: Cold outreach, securing meetings, and passing leads to the senior sales team
Expected to generate own pipeline alongside managing a growing team
Location flexibility—team will be built around the leader’s location

Must-Haves:
Experience in BDR leadership, setting up, and managing an outbound sales team
Hands-on approach—able to generate pipeline while leading
Strong cold-calling and lead-generation expertise
Experience in professional services sales (not just SaaS/products)
Ability to build a team and develop outbound strategy

Nice-to-Haves:
Background in cybersecurity, data protection, or compliance
Experience in consultative selling environments
Previous exposure to ISO, penetration testing, or regulatory frameworks

Salary & Benefits:
£70K–80K base salary
OTE up to £100K/110K
