Role Description
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will drive the delivery of insurance solutions by crafting clear and testable requirements, guiding cross-functional collaboration, and aligning business outcomes with customer expectations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring solutions meet real-world needs while continuously enhancing internal business analysis practices.
Responsibilities
Deliver successful customer solutions through end-to-end ownership of requirements and functional designs
Build trusted relationships with customers by providing domain expertise throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure outcomes meet expectations and are testable and traceable
Support continuous improvement in analysis practices through mentoring, best practices, and personal development
Ensure compliance with company policies on data confidentiality and information security
Requirements
Must-Haves:
7+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally in the insurance industry
Proven ability to consult across multiple projects or customer contexts
Strong skills in business process modelling, requirements gathering, and stakeholder communication
Familiarity with agile delivery practices (e.g., user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning)
Experience with functional and user acceptance testing
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with SaaS insurance platforms or core policy administration systems
Exposure to data integration, reporting, or automation within insurance
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile delivery)
