About the role

Role: Country Manager Poland
Location: Remote (often travel + 3 month onboarding in Berlin)
Language: Polish native + English fluent 
WFH policy: Remote (ideally often travel to Berlin)
Industry: Agriculture tech / ESG 
Product: Climate Operating System 
Size and functions of the local team: 30 FTE, 4  in GTM, currently, with 10-15 open sales vacancies throughout Europe!

Role description: 
- Lead further expansion into the Polish market by designing the GTM strategy and securing key players on the ground. 
- Close deals and manage key processors by closely working with them to understand their needs, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels (incl. farmers, executives, and government employees), and participating in key industry events and fairs.
- Company operates in a complex market where accounts are intertwined, and part of associations. Large accounts set the tone and lead by example. If they close, smaller accounts follow. As such, the bonus structure is different.
- Deals typically close at 50-70K ARR for land, then grow to 400K+ ARR 
- Cycles are undefined due to the early stage of the company and depend on how large of the accounts play an impact on its association.
- You’re going to build FPI maps, going to the market with a strategic and sophisticated approach, managing important stakeholders in the market, that influence the buying behavior of accounts. It; 's a combination of large complex deal management, and high-velocity sales with large and smaller players.
- Buyer personas are: Sustainability managers, CSR directors, emission managers, agriculture managers etc. 
- Mentor new and existing team members and foster a culture of continuous learning within the company as the local team grows.

This comes with natural growth options for early sales hires at the current phase.

Must haves: 
1. 3+ years experience of sales/consulting experience in fast-paced b2b environments
2. Looking for a combination of strong SaaS enterprise closers and a high level of expertise in project management, consulting, and understanding of political stakeholder management. 
3. Proven track record of hunting and closing complex (6-figure) deals, indicating the ability to manage stakeholders  
4. Experience in a pioneering role - building the early stages of a market, or selling an evangelistic solution (new to the market) 
5. A deep understanding of local culture and business dynamics.
6. Experience working in a start-up / scale-up with little processes and structure yet. 

Nice to haves:
1. Sales background in the Food & Beverage industry 
2. Experience selling climate tech solutions 

Hiring process: 3 steps

Salary range & secondary benefits:​​​​​​
A base salary of 110K, plus 15% commission on PDC Key Player revenues → resulting in an OTE of approx. 140K 
OR
A base salary of 90K, plus 30% commission on PDC Key Player revenues → resulting in an OTE of approx. 150K
