Role description:
First marketing hire, responsible for GTM strategy & execution
Focus on Community, Product Marketing and Content Creation
Will potentially include Events, Paid Social (and maybe Search)
Budget: spend about 250k last year, flexible, looking for input

Strong Founding team, $11mio Series A by Accel in October 2024
Planning to grow from $1mio to $5mio ARR this year, so far on pace
Built a Slack community of 2k users, part of 30k dbt Labs community
Focus on Mid-Market in NA/EU, $25k deals, 1-3 month sales cycles
Market size; 1,000 to 5,000 ICP accounts, Heads of Data, BI, Analytics
Don't really believe/support the aggressive outbound/BDR motion
Transparent internal culture, all financials and decisions shared openly.
Growth perspective:
Room to start building out a team in 2025, grow to Head of Marketing
Must haves:
2+ years of Product Marketing experience
Experience at early stage SaaS scale-up (<100 FTE)
Great writer, story-teller, technical content creation
Nice to haves:
Ideally generalist scale-up marketeer, with Product & 0-1 experience
Experience with Events, Performance, Website, A/B testing etc.
Familiarity with BI/data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Experience with open-source business models
Salary range: up to 100k GBP + 0.1 - 0.3% equity (flexible for superstar)
