Role description:
As an Operating Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of portfolio clients and shaping the VC Platform. You will offer strategic guidance and operational support to improve portfolio recruitment and go-to-market efforts. Besides supporting portfolio companies, you have the unique opportunity to establish the VC Platform. This includes building a network of external go-to-market experts, leveraging a network of 200+ entrepreneurial investors, and elevating the brand through content creation and events. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operations, and leadership skills to assist startups from Seed to Series A and beyond.
In short:
Hands-on support with portfolio companies in GTM motions. Establishing best team/processes.
Unique about the company:
Work on many different projects at once. You will support anywhere between 2-8 portfolio companies at the same time, build a strong network in the SaaS space, and grow with the company over time.
Growth perspective:
Build out the 'VC Platform' function, and over time, hire and lead a team to execute on this strategy.
Must haves:
- Extensive start-up experience (Range €500K - €5M ARR)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- 7+ years of experience working with startups and scale-ups (B2B SaaS, Marketplace, or Platform business)
- Experience hiring and managing a go-to-market team in marketing, sales, or customer success
- Willingness to travel
- English fluency
