Product: A digital healthcare platform that connects patients and doctors in times of need.
Size and functions of local team: 5-person commercial team, including 4 sales consultants and 1 growth marketer, planning to expand to 6 with the new hire.
Role description:
Vertical: SaaS for primary care (GP practices).
Buyer persona: GP practice decision-makers and stakeholders, including practice managers and GPs.
Deal size: €149/month/practice for non-sponsored deals; potential larger deals through partnership with healthcare insurers.
Deal cycles: 4-12 weeks, depending on practice size and complexity.
Market focus: Netherlands healthcare market, GP's.
Sales focus: Purely acquisition-focused; consultants handle the full sales cycle. Lead generation is partly supported by the marketer (e.g., through events, flyers) but also includes significant self-generation of pipeline.Potential for this role to grow into leadership
Act as both an individual contributor (achieving personal targets) and a team coach, guiding sales practices and optimising team performance.
Evolve the sales organisation from a traditional, outside-sales approach to a modern, inside-sales framework.
Improve use of sales automation tools to increase deal velocity and close rates.
Must haves:
Executive presence, strong character, challenger profile
3+ years experience in commercial roles / 1+ in SaaS in SME/Mid-market
Must know the SaaS sales game, bring knowledge around automation tools and outbound sales strategies
Interest in the Dutch primary care landscape
Nice to haves:
Successful as an outbound SaaS SDR, with extensive knowledge of tools, processes and sales automation
Prior leadership or team coaching experience
Deeper knowledge of the Dutch healthcare system.
Salary range & secondary benefits:
Base salary €53-77K, with a 70/30 base-variable split.
