Current sales team: 3 people (inbound Sales Executives)
Planned headcount: 5–6 by end of year (different markets/languages)
Broader local functions: Marketing, Compliance, Sales Operations, Partner Support
Role description:
Player-Coach Sales Team Lead
50% management and coaching, 50% individual contribution
Responsible for developing, motivating, and supporting high-performing sales team
Weekly 1:1 check-ins with each salesperson
Reporting pipeline and performance in management meetings
Expected to be vocal and proactive in shaping processes and sales strategy
Active involvement in key high-potential deals:
Reviewing and supporting quotes
Participating in calls when needed
Helping reps close deals
KPI-driven:
Team gross margin achievement
Consistent delivery on call and conversion metrics
Hands-on coaching on pipeline hygiene, Salesforce discipline, and regulated scripts (BAFIN compliance)
Ongoing recruitment and onboarding support as team scales

Must haves:
Native German (mandatory)
Fluent English
2+ years total sales experience (flexible mix of BDR + AE)
Minimum 1+ year in FinTech, SaaS, or Payments sales
Comfortable balancing player-coach responsibilities
High accountability, self-starter, and confident communicator
Nice to haves:
Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, MEDDPICC)
Coaching experience in a high-velocity sales environment
Experience managing or mentoring junior sellers
Comfort working in regulated industries
Salary range & secondary benefits:
Base: €50–65K (flexible for stronger profiles)
Commission: 40% of base, uncapped
