About the role

Sales Manager, Real Estate — Player-Coach | Brisbane

You'll carry your own number and coach a team. Not one or the other.

Cloudstaff is one of the largest offshore staffing providers in Australian real estate — around 450 to 500 seats today, with a target of 1,300+ within twelve months. The vertical is underperforming against that opportunity, and the reason is well understood internally: the team was hired without a plan, has had almost no training, and has been led by someone selling well individually but not building anyone around him. This role fixes that.

What you'll own

You'll run three lanes at once, reporting into the GM of the vertical.

A patch of 50–60 existing accounts already buying seats, which you grow. Land-and-expand is the motion — clients typically start with one or two seats and scale, and retention strengthens sharply once an account passes five.

Net-new business across the national market. Client-stated TAM is roughly 15,000 agents and 30,000 offices nationally. Ray White alone represents an estimated 3,000 potential seats the group hasn't yet considered.

Three reps, who you'll coach and develop — training, honest feedback, accountability. This isn't a supervisory line. You're being hired specifically because you can give hard feedback well and lift people, not because you can run a pipeline review.

You'll also represent Cloudstaff externally: industry events, keynotes, and boardroom conversations with franchise principals. A centralised marketing team runs campaigns and staffs booths, so your time goes into selling, not event logistics.

Team target is around 110 seats a month.

Must-haves

You're still closing personally, today — not a manager who stepped away from the tools two years ago
You've coached and developed junior sellers, and can point to people who got better because of you
PropTech, SaaS sold into real estate, or property management leadership. Real estate operators who have genuinely run a team are in scope; individual agents aren't
Proven account growth, not just hunting
You're credible in a franchise principal's boardroom and comfortable on a stage
You manage yourself. This hiring manager doesn't micromanage and doesn't want to
Generally two-plus years per role

Nice to have

HubSpot fluency. Existing relationships in Australian real estate franchise networks. A NSW network — there's a coverage gap there. Any prior exposure to offshoring, BPO or EOR models.

What's on offer

Base of $130,000–$160,000, with flexibility to $180,000 for the right person. OTE around $220,000–$230,000 in year one, rising 30–40% in year two as trailing commission compounds.
