Salary Range: $100-$120k Base + $60k uncapped commission

Role Description
As the Business Development Manager, you will lead the expansion of the company’s footprint across the Australian education sector. You will promote a newly launched product and build lasting relationships with schools and universities, helping educators enhance learning through tailored video solutions.
Responsibilities
Drive growth across Australia by engaging new schools and universities
Launch and promote the latest educational video product
Develop territory strategies and execute creative prospecting outreach
Conduct prospecting activities to generate meaningful conversations
Identify key decision-makers and influencers within education institutions
Build and manage a pipeline aligned with sales targets and forecasting
Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting (Salesforce)
Represent the company at education events and through bespoke campaigns
Travel throughout Australia for demos, meetings, and events
Collaborate closely with the Australian sales team to align efforts
Requirements
Must-Haves:
3+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or education
Proven success in new business development and market expansion
Confident communicator with a hunter mindset
Strong time and territory management skills
Experience selling across multiple levels of an organization
Target-driven and highly collaborative
Analytical mindset with familiarity using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in teaching, EdTech
Background in education-focused product sales or SaaS in APAC markets
