Role Description
This senior individual contributor role focuses on owning and growing strategic accounts and new business across the Oceania region, with a primary focus on Australia and high-potential expansion into Indonesia.
Team Size & Leadership Scope
Key Collaboration: Regional Director, Sales Lead, Product and Engineering teams
Local Team: 1 Regional Director (Brisbane), 1 Principal Engineer (Brisbane), 1 Engineer (Indonesia), 1 Sales Lead (Toronto/Australia)

Responsibilities
Drive 70% new business and 30% account expansion across civil and mining sectors
Manage the full sales cycle for deals ranging from $60K–$100K+ USD ARR
Navigate sales cycles ranging from 30 days (small-mid deals) to 6+ months (enterprise)
Execute a hybrid inbound/outbound sales strategy, supported by internal leads and account intelligence
Engage with technical buyers (e.g., Principal Engineers, Engineering Managers) and support land-and-expand growth strategies
Maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape (Itasca, Bentley, SEEP/W) and position against competitors
Attend key industry events and conduct occasional in-person meetings to support client success and regional visibility
Requirements
Must-Haves:
5–10 years of experience in SaaS or technical product sales
Exposure to mining and/or civil engineering sectors
Proven experience managing long and complex sales cycles
Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment
Track record of closing high-value deals ($60K+ USD ARR)
Strong integrity, trust-building skills, and stable employment history
Nice-to-Haves:
Based in Brisbane
Familiarity with Slide2, RS2, or similar geotechnical software
Background in geotechnical or engineering technology sales
SaaS-specific sales experience
Experience engaging with engineers or project stakeholders in mining/civil
