Role description: As AE DACH, you are part of the first team for Germany, building out the region. You will be focused on generating pipeline and closing deals. You will be supported by SDRs and marketing, but also hunt yourself.
You will use a modern tech stack (Salesforce, Cloudtalk, Apollo, SalesNavigator) to target and close ICP accounts. Germany is a focus area with tons of growth opportunity for the company, and you can make a big impact in its growth as it's still a large greenfield territory.
Target / KPI: $25.000 Monthly
Deal size/cycle: 10-20K ARR with 45-60 day cycles
PG % & support: 92% - you do less than 10% PG yourself - (imagine the performance you can deliver if you take control with self-generated pipeline on top of what you receive!)

The German government pushed a new legislation that's driving tons of inbound leads to the company - they need to comply and need a solution like this one
e.g. VolkswagenGroup and Casio came inbound in Germany and recently were closed enterprise accounts
Company grew to 5M ARR with mainly inbound - Leadership, strategy & process are now in place to scale at 100% YoY growth; the outbound machine has now been built and runs successfully across EMEA
They are beating the competition. These companies had lay-offs and low-quality support. The current Sales Leader comes from one of these competitors and knows exactly all their weaknesses and how to win from them.

Must haves
1+ years of AE closing experience in SaaS with similar deal sizes (10-30K / 2-3 months / Senior stakeholder management)
Strong track record of performance and pipeline generation (full-cycle sales)
Level of maturity and self-sufficiency. This is the first hire in Germany without an on-site manager. Silktide looks for self-starters who can take ownership without needing a manager who looks over their shoulder every day.

Salary range & secondary benefits: €64.000 Base & OTE of around 90-100.000€ uncapped
