Size and functions of local team: Head of CS will now hire first 3 CSMs / consultants.
Role description:
As the solution isn't technically complex, there's no pre-sales necessary. CSMs take on responsibility in the deal cycles, running demo's building a business case and then realising that value through onboarding, consultancy and eventually upsells, renewals.
This is a consultative role, pre-sales and CSM role with commercial target
Part of the first CSM hires, reporting into a fantastic CS leader and consultant
Targets will developed still but shall be focused on retention and upsell
Must haves:
2+ year of experience as Consultant (no SaaS experience needed) OR 2 year of pre-sales experience in SaaS
Very hands on, willing to do operational work with customers
Executive presence - can work with senior leadership at clients (pharma / LifeScience)
Enterprise account management or CSM experience (worked with enterprise clients)
Nice to have
Enterprise SaaS CSM experience with commercial targets, experienced in running demos
Sold to Pharma (industry) needs the knowledge of the industry
High level of intelligence and strong academic background (level of sophistication)
