Size and functions of local team: 12 FTE (engineering-heavy, includes patent SME and chief of staff)

Role description:
AE – Founding commercial role focused on selling AI solutions to legal/IP teams in mid-market to enterprise firms. Predominantly outbound motion; responsible for building and executing prospecting strategies, closing deals, and codifying GTM practices. Sales process includes complex stakeholder navigation. Typical deal size is £70K–£100K+, based on seat-based pricing. Mix of large accounts and faster mid-market cycles. Early success with well-known multinationals.

Must haves:

3–7 years experience

2+ years in outbound BDR/SDR roles with clear success metrics

1+ year as AE with demonstrated closing experience

Mid-market or enterprise sales exposure

Strong grasp of complex product sales

High adaptability, analytical mindset

Previous startup or fast-paced environment experience

London-based

High accountability and proactive attitude

Nice to haves:

Sold to legal or IP personas

Legal background or LegalTech sales experience

Experience in AI or data-centric products

Worked in early-stage startups

Salary range & secondary benefits:
£90K–£120K base + equity (vesting after 1 year, performance incentives)
Visa sponsorship available

In-person case study (recorded call analysis, messaging strategy)

Final round with advisor/founder
