Size and functions of local team: Nedap total 1.000+ employees, Security Commercial team - 3 SDRs, 6 AEs, 6 people on CSM/ AM + partner team
Role description:
Security team, new business commercial team, is split into regions - DACH, NL, Nordics and UK&I.
They have been around for decades, traditionally an on-premise solution. Started the transition to SaaS three years ago, so this is more a greenfield.
3 SaaS products for Security.
This AE role will mainly focus on a new SaaS product: Physical Identity & Access management system.
German SDR is currently being hired. 70% pipe gen self gerenated, 30% inbound & events and SDR.
Focus on companies from 10.000 employees.
There are 600 target accounts for the DACH market, covered by this and one other AE - so 300 accounts per AE.
Pilot is 50 - 100k, on average is a pilot 6 months. Thats the most common way to win new business.
Sales cycle: 6-12 months
Must haves:
Experience selling a complex enterprise SaaS product with large deal values and multi-stakeholders
Minimum of 3 years relevant Enterprise new business experience within SaaS
Winning mentality, strategic, self starter, goes the extra mile, relationship builder
Nice to haves:
Dutch speaking
Comes into the office more frequent
Worked in the security industry
Salary range: Max 109k base (including holiday allowance + 13th month) & 41k on target commission (75/25 split) + lease car
