Account Executive – Cybersecurity / Data Protection (B2B SaaS)📍 Sydney (Hybrid)
💰 $175k OTE (60/40 split)
We’re partnering with a global SaaS vendor in the cybersecurity and data protection space, supporting the growth of their Sydney-based team.
This business delivers cloud-first solutions that enable IT service providers and mid-market organisations to strengthen security, resilience, and operational scale. With a strong international footprint and a well-established partner ecosystem, they are now expanding further into mid-market and regulated industries.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring for two Account Executive roles across Security and Backup solutions. Both positions sit in a high-performing, collaborative team and offer a mix of expansion and new business responsibility.
This is a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment where you’ll manage multiple deals concurrently, working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive revenue.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing a healthy pipeline of active opportunities (circa 30–40 deals)
Closing 6–10 deals per month in a structured, high-activity environment
Driving expansion within existing customers and partner networks
Identifying and converting new business opportunities (particularly in backup/data protection role)
Collaborating with partner success and SDR teams to progress deals
Engaging mid-market customers, including those in compliance-heavy industries
Educating stakeholders on cybersecurity and data resilience solutions
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years’ experience as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS
Proven success in high-velocity, transactional or mid-market sales
Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline
Ability to operate in a partner-led or channel sales environment
High energy, strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach
Nice to Have
Exposure to cybersecurity (e.g. EDR, MDR) or data protection solutions
Experience selling into MSPs or IT service providers
Background working with regulated industries (e.g. finance, healthcare)
