About the role
The environmentYou’ll be joining a SaaS business building a planning solution for operations-driven organisations with complex setups: multiple locations, languages, and multidisciplinary teams. The local team consists of 19 people, primarily developers, with a senior AE leading sales, the CEO closely involved, and a Customer Success team currently being built.
The culture is flat and direct, with high autonomy and honest communication. Growth opportunities come quickly for people who take ownership and execute.
The position
This is a hybrid inbound/outbound sales development position focused on qualification and high-quality appointment setting. The focus is on mid-market B2B organisations, targeting operations managers and DGAs.
This is deliberately not a high-volume calling role. The emphasis is on quality outreach, strong messaging, and confident, executive-level conversations.
You’ll work closely with a senior AE and marketing on outreach strategy and positioning, with direct exposure to leadership.
What you’ll be doing
• Qualifying inbound leads and running targeted outbound campaigns
• Booking high-quality meetings and creating sales-accepted opportunities
• Collaborating with marketing on ICP definition, messaging, and lead lists
• Qualifying prospects on pain, urgency, and organisational fit
• Helping shape a scalable outbound and qualification approach
Sales context
• Target audience: operations managers & DGAs
• Sales cycle: B2B mid-market
• Current deal size: ~€800 MRR, scaling towards €1.5K–€2K
• Objective: contribute to ~4 closed deals per month within the broader sales motion

• Clear path to a closing role within 12 months based on performance

Must-haves
• 1+ year experience in a sales development role or 2+ years in a commercial role (e.g. recruitment, SaaS sales)
• Strong executive presence and drive
• Coachable mindset and hunger to learn
• Self-starter who operates comfortably with autonomy
• Fluent in Dutch
Nice-to-haves
• SaaS or B2B sales experience
• Proven ability to qualify and hold strategic conversations
